Grant Writing

Grant Writing

Grant writing is the practice of completing an application process for funding provided by an institution such as a government department, corporation, foundation or trust. Successful grant writing requires a clear understanding of grantsmanship, the art of acquiring provider-reviewed funding. Successful grant writing involves the coordination of several activities including planning, searching for data and resources, writing and packaging a proposal, submitting the proposal to a funder, and follow-up.

UNM Continuing Education also offers online classes in Grantsmanship, which may be completed at your own pace.
